What documents are needed for verification?
- NIN Paper Slip: If you choose to use the NIN paper slip, ensure you also provide your birth certificate. When uploading, select 'ID card' for the NIN paper slip and use the birth certificate as the back ID.
- Verification Criteria: Ensure that your documents include your full name, photo, date of birth, issue date, and signature. Note that PDFs of NINs are not accepted.
Alternative Proof of Identification: If you prefer not to use the NIN paper slip, you may submit one of the following:
- Passport
- National ID Card
- National Driver’s License
- Digital NIN
- NIN Slip
- ECOWAS Residence Card
What are the requirements for submitting documents?
- Include Both Sides: For applicable documents, upload both the front and back.
- Full Visibility: Ensure all four corners of the document are visible.
- Validity: Documents must be issued within the last 30 days and not expired.
- Signature: Passports must have a signature.
- File Format: Only upload images in .jpeg or .png formats. Screenshots are not accepted.
How do I complete the verification process?
- Create Your Account: After setting up your account, you will be directed to the verification page.
- Select Document Type: Choose 'Nigeria' as the issuing country and select the type of document you are submitting.
- Upload Documents: Upload your document, ensuring compliance with the above requirements.
- Complete Liveness Check: Perform a liveness check by taking a selfie. This step usually takes just a few minutes.
- Verify Phone Number: Provide and verify your phone number.
- Review and Approval: Once all steps are completed, your account will be reviewed, typically within 1-3 minutes.
